Limited n.2

Limited Edition No. 2, the special Ca’Barley Christmas beer dedicated to the art of Typography. To make it, we turned to the Stamperia of Tipoteca Italiana, the most important italian museum center on the art of printing, which preserves matrices and historical printing presses still in working order, and which is located a short walk from the brewery. With a selection of original wooden type fonts, we printed in letterpress (basically the ancestor of modern printing) “8 types” of different typographic styles. The intensity of the ink and the white of the cotton paper give us back all the charm and elegance of printing. Every scratch or inaccuracy, is not a flaw but the sign of its glorious past!
